Hey everyone!!
So we started to dabble in other crafts besides working with paper. I (baby sister) made felt flower pens for a FLOWER SHOWER! A friend of ours referred this customer to us asking if we can help her make fun statement items for the bridal shower that she was throwing for her sister. We suggested FLOWER PENS because they were great to use for games that she had planned, and they served double as a party favor!
We were asked if we could use the fatter blue pens (customer provided these, since we use the BIC pen) because her sister likes these pens in particular.
We like to make sure that the grip on the pen was not covered because the grip is there for a reason! So why would we cover it . . . we like the purpose of the grip, so we leave it so that it can serve its purpose!
Here is a wonderful shot of the pens that the customer let us use, she placed it in a couple of jars on the table to be the token centerpieces (HEY! a 3rd purpose!) and to be within arms reach to all the guests.
We use various colors so that her guests can pick the colors that they want to take home with them. Check out our Etsy Store to see a listing of the colors that we can make. Or if there is a color that you want, let us know! and we can work with our vendor to see if we can get it! Just imagine what wonderful memories/ photos you will have with these pens in everyone's hand! We can do bulk orders!

Customized Banner
Recently, we were asked to create a banner for a couple who were getting married. The wedding colors itself were silver & yellow, and they were an Asian couple, so we went for the yellow & red, since they are traditional "lucky" colors.
The specifications that were given to us were to "please don't make a rectangular banner." We obliged. And we were told "please keep in mind it will be for a car" . . . we remembered this . . . and this was the outcome:
We used these customized alphabet letters in 9inches and made 10-11inch ovals to make the backing for the letters. We were also asked if we can laminate the banner, which we said we could . . . and we did!
Both, we and the couple, loved it and doesn't it look wonderful on the car!

Centerpieces & Table Numbers
So there has been so much crafting that has been going on! We had a wedding that we were helping out with, and I (baby sister) must say, I am pooped! A local customer of ours (found us through Facebook, THANK YOU FACEBOOK & our friends for free advertising for us) asked if we can do 2 major things for her, and of course I said YES!
You can see how they incorporated our paper flowers into a stunning (and show stoppin') centerpiece!
The flowers were a local customized order, we were asked to make 1000 (WHOA!) red flowers. We do sell in smaller packs (35) to be found here on our Etsy. 1-1.5 inch in diameter & made of crepe paper.
We were also asked if we can make customized table numbers to attach to this fabulous centerpiece. Of course we said YES! We love this stuff. Our wonderful customer sent us their pictures and we created this:
The pictures were 4X6. They saw this posting and asked if we can do the numbers with the font/ text. We could and we did. I wanted to keep in the theme of red & gold, and that is what came of it. Our customer our love the simplicity yet personalization of the table number. We love how this came out, comment us or let us know if we can help with making these table numbers for your next event!
I was promised a picture of what the outcome was as a whole. So as soon as it comes in, I'll definitely post!
UPDATE JULY 30, 2011:

Camera Case
Since I recently received a sewing machine as a WONDERFUL gift, I decided to try it out and make a camera case for my sister. This is my first sewing project and it was all about trial and error. My first attempt at the case didn't come looking the way I wanted, but my 2nd case came out nice and usable. Don't you agree?

Daisy Envelope
A customer of ours shared this picture of how they incorporated the layered daisy flowers into their wedding. They had us customized the flowers to be red and gold to fit their wedding colors. This was a Chinese wedding and it's not unusual to give money as gifts. Therefore, they use the flowers to decorate the money envelopes that are left on tables for guests as to purchasing the traditional red envelopes "hong bao."

Flower Shower Invites
We created this bridal shower invite that fitted the bridal party request. The bridal party wanted a simple flower invite that reflects the bride's simple, but sleek style. Their theme was "Flower Shower" since it was held during the Spring. We really liked how the invite turned out and so did the bridal party!
